Revision as of 23:08, 3 March 2014

This is the personal homepage of Marc Saric.

It includes some stuff related to my studies, Ph.D. and Postdoc as well as a review of useful programs for Palm Pilots, Symbian phones, some info about Eclipse-extensions and some Python- and Linux-HowTos and a totaly outdated review of (almost) free molecular modelling programs.

I can also be found on Google, Xing, LinkedIn, Twitter, Flickr, Yahoo and I had a small, fat avatar called DoppelPommes Mayo on SecondLife. I am no longer active on Facebook because it sucks too much.

The earliest incarnation of this site went online around 1997, after the University of Bochum supplied a server for student-homepages (there has been an older parallel version hosted by a free homepage-provider, which dates from the end of 1996, written entirely in german -which means I am online for more than 15 years now :-) ).

The old static source has been replaced by a more interactive and easy to use MediaWiki using a customized Monobook-skin, partly based on FratMan2. The menu-system is made with Cascading Popup Menu v. 5.1 by Angus Turnbull.

Between December 2002 and January 2006 the page has been hosted by http://www.1und1.com, since January 2006 it resides on a virtual server at https://www.server4you.de on http://www.marcsaric.de.

If your browser does not support Javascript, please use the sitemap for navigation (sorry for the inconvenience, but -hey- it's the 21st century, nobody really uses lynx anymore).

This homepage is not related to the above mentioned university etc. It's just my personal piece of the WWW.

A not so up-to-date list of hopefully interesting exits from this page.
